About Foxy Brown

Born on September 6, 1978, Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, better known by her stage name Foxy Brown, is an American rapper, model, and actress. The “Hip-Hop Princess” is best known for her solo work but is also known for her many collaborations and her work with the hip-hop group The Firm. Foxy has been arrested many times and has served some time in jail, which has hurt much of her post-2007 career.

Foxy’s first solo studio album, Ill Na Na was released in 1996, followed by Chyna Doll in 1999, and Broken Silence in 2001. The three albums achieved minor success. In 1997, after the release of her first album, she worked with many artists, including Nas, AZ, and Nature, to release The Album, under the name The Firm. It was the only album to be released by that group to date.

She’s currently working on her comeback album King Soon Come, set to be released in 2019.
